2026 Studio Lead
The Modern West Floral Co. Design Studio Lead position is a seasonal/part time paid position for someone that has the ambition to move up into a management position in the future. This position will be leading our mixed bouquet assembly as well as assisting the Field Manager in harvesting cut flowers in the early mornings, weeding, planting, maintaining the flower farm and processing flowers. This position is for someone who is very attentive to detail, works quickly and efficiently, and who is punctual and reliable and has a positive attitude. The Studio Lead position will be working at MWFC’s small flower farm in Silt, CO. They are responsible for their own transportation, lunch, water, and proper attire - tools will be provided. POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This position is for someone who loves detail within efficiency and working with their hands in a fast paced independent environment:
Harvesting of cut flowers
Conditioning of cut flowers
Assembly of mixed market bouquets.
Weeding, sowing, transplanting and general farm tasks for a ½ acre cut flower farm.
Processing of ordered flowers
Cleaning and sanitizing 5 gallon buckets and other vessels.
General cleanliness, organization of farm and studio.
Commitment - 2-4 days a week anywhere from 8-32 hours total in the week. Mondays and Wednesdays are preferred days. May - October.
Pay - DOE $16-$25/hour. Opportunity to earn more as you gain experience and expertise.
Opportunity to become a full time position and/or continue into the next season.
