Modern West Floral Company is the Roaring Fork and Colorado River Valley's premier locally grown florist, sourcing as much as possible from our farm in Silt, Colorado. We specialize in organically grown seasonal bouquets, arrangements and botanical decor that capture the beauty of Colorado’s natural landscape. If you are looking for a modern, seasonal florist that is inspired by nature and sustainably conscious in their practices, we are the florist for you! (If you desire very specific flower types, roses, or have a more complex event, we can make recommendations for other designers that would fit your needs.) In order to make your wedding/event florals as stress free as possible, we offer 3 options to accommodate an array of clients and budgets:
FULL SERVICE floral design
MWFC works with a select few clients each summer to provide full service wedding design and installation of event florals. These clients seek the beauty of the season. This option allows MWFC to work in detail with the client, planner and other vendors to provide the following:
Detailed design consultation and styling proposal
Custom designed wedding florals using the beauty and bounty of the season and native landscape
Delivery and installation on the day(s) of your event
Strike and clean up

PRIX FIXE event florals
Perfect for many brides and event hosts/hostesses [think dinner party, birthday, bridal shower or any special event!], MWFC’s Prix Fixe Event Florals provide beautiful, local and seasonal florals with a streamlined process that stays within a defined budget. With this option Modern West Floral provides a floral menu with a range of lush garden style arrangements at a fixed transparent price.
You tell us your color palette, overall theme, desired items and sizes and then leave it to us to create your floral decor from the best and most beautiful of what is in bloom that week. Florals are available for pick up at our Carbondale studio only, delivery is not provided. BULK florals + foliage
Looking for farm fresh organically grown flowers in bulk quantity to arrange yourself or with your family and friends? MWFC offers bulk flowers and greenery from our farm in Silt from June though October. Place your bulk order via email: vanessa@modernwestfloral.com

I had the pleasure of working with Tara and Vanessa on flower arrangements and bouquets for our wedding in September.
